Nearing the end of an hour long Sunday service, Bishop T.D. Jakes suddenly stopped preaching, lowered his microphone, began shaking and dropped a rag before about a dozen clergy members rushed to his aid at the Potter's House in front of a standing audience of church members.

The church has not confirmed whether Jakes was hospitalized or provided details about the cause of the incident, but it released a statement on Instagram, stating that Jakes is "stable and under the care of medical professionals.
