We visited this magnificent area many years ago, but it was on our to do list again and was well worth the effort of a relatively early start (well, we were on holiday!) to get there at around 9.30am…Full review by Ann H

Hired a car for the day , easy to drive here well sign posted , carpark is very very steep so not for mobility issues, cafe prices very cheap for a captivity audience, forgot entry to the park is 20…Full review by Runboyrun5267

An excellent slightly more than half day outing on the TUI bus with an expert driver and a very knowledgeable guide. Fascinating tour of the volcano park and also stop at a winery and salt production…Full review by David M

For anyone who has done the half day tui tour, is there a lot of walking or steep hills to climb? Does the bus take you through or do you walk? Asking as have elderly parent looking to come along but worried they will find it tough
A:
I haven’t done the Tui tour but in the actual park itself you are driven around on a bus. There is just a 10/20m short steep hill from the car park to the visitor centre.
