Located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Desert Hills provides a continuum of behavioral health services ranging from Sub-Acute Treatment to Community Based Programs.The Residential Treatment Programs (RTC) are semi-secure with 24-hour supervision. The program specialties include treatment for children, ages 5-11, who are severely emotionally disturbed; adolescents, ages 11-18, who are experiencing sexually maladaptive behaviors; adolescents who have a dual-diagnosis including substance abuse; and adolescents who are MR/DD.Desert Hills has a special all female unit that is Dialectical Behavioral therapy adherent. The program is female adolescents ages 13-18 who struggle with intense emotional dysregulation.
