This image supports the latest Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W and recent Raspberry Pi 4 boards that require a newer firmware than is available on the RetroPie 4.7.1 image.

WEBHold down any button on your keyboard or gamepad and the name will appear at the bottom and then open up into a configuration menu: Follow the onscreen instructions to configure your gamepad- if you run out of buttons just hold down a button to skip each unused button. WEBI have a Pi 4 setup with 2 XBox Series Controllers connected through a USB dongle. And it works fine. I added an 8bitdo Zero 2 controller attached through bluetooth. The 8bitdo controller has the select button set for hotkey use.
