WEBFeb 11, 2022 · I'm trying to download complete romsets for everything up to n64/ps1. I've been using no-intro sets, however it just takes so much time getting rid of all the Japanese games, early revisions, betas, stuff like that.

Many (all?) of the supported platforms have "Game Series Collection" folders (either included in the primary archive, or as an additional download) that curate the ROM library in various interesting ways.

WEBFeb 13, 2024 · This was built inspired by Hearto's 1g1r collection, so it's similar in a lot of aspects: It doesn't include bad dumps, hacks, fixed, patched or cracked ROMs. Retool was used for trimming all sets. Region preference was setup with Retool's default order for English speakers: USA, World, Canada, Europe, UK, etc.

It's great to have a set that isn't bloated with multiple revisions and bad games. Can I suggest a couple of missing Genesis/Mega Drive hacks that I think are worth adding.

WEBYes the links are “dead” but there is a way to revive it using an extension called grease monkey and some code. If you do a google search you might find the rest of the missing pieces or just search here on reddit. The info is out there if you can find it. There’s a no-intro torrent of every system before PlayStation.

WEBFeb 18, 2023 · I'm trying to look for a way to turn all these NoIntro sets into 1G1R sets. I see posts that are (at least) one year old talking about loading a data file that's associated with the particular NoIntro set that you're working with. I'm working with NoIntro sets that are new (2023____) - I don't think a data file exists for them.

These programs have databases that know which games are clones of other games, and which is the best "version" of a game based on what your preferred region is.
