Not sure your experience with arcade emulation, but make sure you’re using a full, non-merged romset if you want pick/choose games. Honestly, MAME can often be more hassle than it's worth, especially on these devices.

Fbneo is almost like a picked through version of MAME that’s much more consistent with 95% working while MAME can get very hit and miss. Fbneo is easier to try first imo.
