With that being said, even after hard resetting them and my console multiple ways, they only connect for chat audio with the Xbox claiming that they are “Plugged In” in the Accessories app, even though it is a wireless headset meant for voice and game audio.

WEBFeb 13, 2020 · NEED HELP. Most noticeably playing call of duty modern warfare the directional audio from my headset is reversed, which forces me to wear the headset backwards. When its on backwards it sounds correct. I have tried 3 different headsets all with the same issue. Since most headsets do not have reversible mics, the mic ends up behind my head.

WEBSep 30, 2019 · Are only Backwards compatible games affected? If so, it might be that the Astro A50 base station acts as a USB microphone, which doesn't work as Chat microphone on the Xbox 360. You might have to contact the Astro A50 support for information on how to use that headset on backwards compatible titles.
